We're experienced in caring for dogs with special needs and administering medications. We can accommodate most medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and medication schedules. Please provide detailed written instructions for any medications, including dosage, timing, and administration method. For dogs with more complex medical needs, we'll schedule a consultation before their stay to ensure we can provide appropriate care.
Yes, until the age of 6 months. In Iowa, intact dogs over the age 6 months are not permitted to socialize with dogs outside for their household. Our current day to day structure wouldn't be fair for a pup to be isolated. Therefore, they must take a break after 6 months of age until they are neutered. Please consult your veterinarian on the best timing to spay/neuter your pup.
All of these concerns are addressed on our enrollment form. Please, provide as much detail as possible so we can keep ourselves and the other pups in our care safe. We are here to help if you have concerns about something specific. Don't be afraid to contact us if you want guidance.
